Online perinatal psychology services

My perinatal psychology services accompany you through every stage of the journey towards parenthood. From wanting a child and trying to conceive, through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, to perinatal grief and the transition into motherhood and fatherhood, each moment has its own emotional challenges. As a perinatal psychologist, I offer specialised, warm and professional support tailored to your situation.

All sessions are online, so you can receive support from anywhere, with flexibility and the same depth as meeting in person. The first step is always a conversation to understand what you are going through and how I can help.

Support shaped around you

I work with the desire to become a parent and fertility, emotional support during pregnancy and birth, the postpartum period and the bond with your baby, perinatal grief and loss, motherhood and fatherhood, and non-motherhood grief. Wherever you are, you do not have to go through it alone. You can book a first session through the contact page.

Areas of support

Wherever you are, I can support you. These are the main areas I work with:

How do I know if I need perinatal support?

You do not have to be in crisis to ask for help. Most people who come to therapy are not facing an emergency: they are going through a moment that is heavier than they expected. These are the signs that come up most often:

  • You feel you should be fine and you are not, and the guilt adds to what already weighs on you.
  • Anxiety shows up almost daily: looping thoughts, trouble sleeping even when the baby sleeps, constant alertness.
  • Your birth did not go the way you expected and you cannot stop going over it.
  • You have lost a pregnancy or a baby and the people around you moved on before you did.
  • Trying to conceive is taking longer than expected and every cycle feels like a failure.
  • You do not recognise yourself since becoming a mother or a father, and you miss who you used to be.

If any of these sound familiar, support will not speed the process up, but it does keep it from settling in. Asking for help early usually saves months.

How the sessions work

Sessions are one to one and take place by video call, lasting 50 minutes. They are usually weekly or fortnightly, adapted to where you are and to your real life, including life with a small baby at home. Each session costs 55 EUR, paid securely when you book. You can read more about what the sessions are like or find answers to specific questions in the frequently asked questions.

The first session is a space for assessment and for building trust: we meet, you tell me what brings you here, and we explore together where to start. There are no tests and no rigid protocols. Everything shared in the session stays in the session.

I work from perinatal psychology with a relational and systemic approach, which means we also look at the context: your partner, your family, the birth you went through, the support around you. You can read about my training and how I work before taking the first step.

Online support, wherever you are

Working online is not a reduced version of in-person therapy: it is what makes support fit into a stage of life when leaving the house can be hard. No travelling, no rigid timetables, and from a place you already know. Distance stops being an obstacle, including if you live outside Spain.

If you are not sure where you are right now, don’t worry: you can write to me through the contact page and we will figure it out together.
