How we work together

The Sessions

A structured space, always adapted to you and to where you are. No protocols. No scripts. Just presence.

The space we create

Sessions are not just about talking

They are a space where what you feel has a place. Where anxiety is not something to eliminate, guilt is not something to judge, and ambivalence is not something to fix. Each emotion is listened to, named and held.

My work is based on perinatal psychology with a relational and systemic approach. A relationship of trust is the most important tool — a safe, warm and non-judgemental space where you can genuinely be yourself.

“You don’t need to be in crisis to deserve support. Wanting support is enough.”

Relational approach
The quality of the bond between us is what determines the depth of the work.
Your own pace
There are no rigid timelines. The process follows your pace and respects where you are.
No judgement
Whatever you bring to the session has a place. There are no wrong emotions or inappropriate feelings.

The beginning

The first session

The first session is a space for assessment and connection. There is nothing to prove and no test to pass. It is a first meeting where we get to know each other and look together at what brought you here.

The most important thing in this first session is to create a space of trust, at your pace, without judgement.
  • Where you are right now (pregnancy, postpartum, loss, trying to conceive…)
  • Your emotional state: anxiety, fears, sadness, irritability, exhaustion
  • Your personal history and significant previous experiences
  • Your support network: partner, family, the people close to you
  • What you are looking for and what you need from this space
The journey

What happens during the process

01

Recognition

We identify what is happening: what you feel, how you are experiencing your situation, what is causing the most distress. We validate your experience without judging it.

02

Understanding

Together we explore the emotional patterns, beliefs and past experiences that are shaping how you feel. Not to judge them, but to understand them.

03

Integration

We work to integrate what you have lived: to give it meaning, and to find a kinder relationship with yourself and with this stage of your life.

The work we do

Tools and approaches

There is no single method. The work adapts to you, to your history and to where you are. These are some of the resources we may use:

Emotional regulation
Specific techniques to manage anxiety, fear and overwhelm in the moment.
Psychoeducation
Understanding what happens in your body, your nervous system and your emotional world.
Belief work
Identifying and exploring the narratives that create suffering or block the process.
Visualisations
Guided imagery to connect with your inner strengths and with what you are feeling.
Emotional birth plan
Preparation for birth from a psychological and emotional perspective.
Narrative and identity work
Working through the big life transitions that change the way you relate to yourself.
Grief support
Specific support for perinatal grief, whether or not other people can see it.
Self-compassion
Learning to look at yourself with the same kindness you offer to those you love.
Common questions

What people usually ask

No. You don’t need a diagnosis, and you don’t need to be at breaking point. Many people come because something does not feel quite right, or simply because they want support through an important time.
That depends on each person and their process. In the first sessions we make an initial assessment together and we can set a shared roadmap. There is no standard formula.
Many people find online sessions work just as well for them. They value the flexibility, the privacy of being at home and being able to attend from anywhere. It is a real way to work.
Feeling that we fit matters. If after a few sessions you feel the space is not working for you, we talk about it openly. Your wellbeing always comes first.
Yes. I offer sessions for fathers and co-parents, as well as sessions as a couple when the situation calls for it. The perinatal journey is lived by more than one person.
