Psychological support

Motherhood

The maternal transition is a process of integral change: emotional, physical, psychological, relational and identity-shaping. A path that deserves to be accompanied.

Specialised therapeutic space

A space for you, in a time of great change

Motherhood transforms. It transforms the body, identity, relationships, the way you exist in the world. It is a process that requires a complete reorganisation, and it doesn't always happen smoothly or in a straight line.

I offer you a specialised psychological space during the search for pregnancy, gestation, birth and postpartum. My goal is to care for your mental and emotional health at a time when the focus is often placed elsewhere.

It's not about being a perfect mother. It's about being able to inhabit this process with presence, support and without judgement.

I can support you with

  • Pregnancy search and conception
  • Fears, anxiety and ambivalence during pregnancy
  • Emotional preparation for birth
  • Postpartum adjustment and the first months
  • Changes in identity and sense of self
  • Guilt, self-demand and social pressure
  • Difficulties in bonding and the relationship with your baby
  • Changes in your relationship and close connections
What fits in this space

The emotions that inhabit motherhood

Every emotion has its place. There are no good or bad emotions — only experiences that need to be heard, named and held.

Key concept

The Dyad

The dyad is the emotional, relational and regulatory unit formed by the baby and their primary caregiver. Mother and baby are an interdependent system: what happens to one resonates in the other.

Caring for the mother is caring for the baby. Caring for the bond is caring for development. Supporting the maternal transition protects this founding relationship.

How we work together

What the sessions are like

A structured space, always adapted to you and to your moment.

First session

Assessment and connection

In our first meeting, we explore together:

  • How you are experiencing the search, pregnancy or postpartum
  • Your emotional state: anxiety, fears, sadness, irritability
  • Personal history and previous experiences
  • Your support network: partner, family, surroundings
  • Your expectations and concerns about motherhood
The most important thing is to create a space of trust and without judgement.

During pregnancy

Sessions can focus on
  • Fears around birth
  • Anxiety about health concerns
  • Body changes and identity shifts
  • Prenatal bonding with your baby
  • Emotional preparation for birth
  • High-risk pregnancies or after previous losses
  • Fertility and assisted reproduction processes

In the postpartum

The focus will be on
  • Baby blues or postpartum depression
  • Guilt, self-demand or feeling of not coping
  • Changes in the relationship
  • Breastfeeding from an emotional perspective
  • Adjusting to the new maternal identity
  • Bonding and connection with your baby
The real experience of motherhood is validated — not the idealised version.
